PROVIDER RELATIONS UPDATE
Health Program Update:
In February, we will begin the next stage in implementing our new AmeriPlan
Health program. Our medical members enrolled before December 4, 2005 will be
transitioned to utilize the new network available in their area. These members will
not have to change their provider as our existing providers will be merged with
the new list of providers and will continue to give our members the same quality
service at the same discounted fees as before. We are working on the new
composite network, and shortly, all members enrolled before December 4th will
receive new cards with the added network logo and a new membership book with
the updated information. We will continue to maintain and build our proprietary
medical network focusing primarily in those areas that do not currently have
providers. Your referrals will be essential to the success of this project.
Referrals should be emailed to: referral@ameriplanusa.com – please include the
patient reference information.
Provider Network Weekly Report:
• DENTAL: We added forty-seven new providers
• CHIROPRACTIC: We contracted four new providers
NOTICE: The new Medical FAQ’s are now available for viewing on your Broker
Support website.
Group Sales/Broker Benefits Updates
The Group Resources located in Broker Support are now updated. The DVPC
and Health Group Proposals have also been updated.
AMERIPLAN HEALTH – ½ PRICE MEMBER PROMO
To bring in the New Year, we have launched the Half-Price AmeriPlan Health
Membership Promotion. The promotion will occur from January 3rd to January
31st at 5:00 PM CST. For this promotion, we are waiving the one time $30
registration fee on all AmeriPlan Health memberships, and the cost for the first
month fees will be half-off! $29.95 for family memberships and $24.95 for
individual memberships will be all your members will have to pay to take
advantage of our wonderful program.
